Make A Stand!...

When buying as many Tea Cups ans Saucers as I do, I usually end up with other bits of Vintage China thrown in, I never throw them away I just put them all together in a box and when there is quite a lot in there I see what I can make out of them.

I decided to make a Jewellery Stand of these 3 pieces,  An Old Candle Stick, Sugar Bowl and Saucer.

I stacked them up and used silicone to stick them together.

And This Was The Results :)

My Vintage Tea Cup Candles...

My love for Vintage China Tea Cups and Saucers started when I came across the most Beautiful Tea Set when out Shopping one day. I just had to have it!!

When I got home I decided to display it in my bedroom, as it was just soo Pretty :)

After admiring the set for a few days I had an idea! I decided I was going to put scented candles in each cup, so i bought Wax, Scented Oil and Wicks and began making my candles, they looked Lovely, I was very proud of my self :) 

When Family and Friends came round and saw my Tea Cup Candles they asked could I make some for them, as they are great for Presents or just if you fancy treating yourself. As more and more People wanted them I decided to make them in larger amounts, and later decided to Display them at a local Craft Fayer to see what sort of interest I got, the results were Fab! and I had to keep restocking my Stall with more Tea Cups I had under the Stall in Suitcases.

Since them I've done a few more Fayers and done reasonably well, but they can be hit and miss depending on Weather and Advertisement Etc, so I've now decided To put my Teacups On Etsy for all too see :)

A Perfect Match...

A few weeks ago me and the Girls planned to go into Town for a Night out, and I really wanted a New pair of Shoes for the occasion, I love to mix old with new so when I came across these Amazing Snake Skin Shoes on one of my recent shopping trips I just had to have them, as I had the most perfect Vintage Clutch Bag at home that had once belonged to my Lovely Grandma.

I have quite a few of her Handbags in my collection but this is one of my faves :) Although I must admit they really hurt my Feet, but looked Amazing, and as for the Clutch Bag... Well lets just say Someone Lovely looked after it for me as I now know im not too good with Clutches!!

Swinging 40's...

Recently me and my best friend went to a 1940's Event in Howarth, Yorkshire.
It was a great chance to get all dresses up and wear a 1930/40's Dress I had bought a few weeks before from a Vintage Boutique.

The dress I wore was White and Pink with Green tiny floral detail in each square, and gave me a really flattering shape. I decided to pair it with a tiny White Waisted Belt, White Handbag, and the most amazing White peep toe Shoes with a lovely big bow on them! I wanted to keep my hair simple so went for two Victory Rolls and loose curls.

The Street was filled with people of all ages mostly dressed up, there was a lovely lady singing war time classics to a live band, lots of Vintage Vehicles and some lovely stalls selling hand made Vintage creations. We had a Blast!! and are defiantly going again next time and I'm already on the prowl for my next 1940's inspired outfit :)

I Rest My Case...

Hey Ladies

Soo i absolutely love old Vintage Suitcases! the more damaged the better in my opinion.

I decided to get some use out of them by using them for storage in my Bedroom, and it worked a treat :)

                   In the largest Suitcase are my Vintage Handbags that I don't use very often,

        

            The second biggest have more Vintage Handbags in that i use more often,

          

  The One from that top have Vintage Scarfs in,

       

       The little on on the top has my Belts in.

       

These Suitcase's have been bought form an array of different places as I'm always on the look out for Vintage finds!



This work really well for me and looks great in my Bedroom too! hope you like :)
